Process of Abhyangam Massage

The person who is taking massage seated on Droni (An special kind table that is made for massage purpose).Two masseurs who are stands both sides of person taking massage and do the massage with herbal oils gently and loose hands. The massage is continued on the neck, ears, shoulders, chest and back. The person then turns on their back and the massage is continued from shoulder to toe. During the course of the massage the person lies on his right side, left side, stomach, and again on his back, and finally in the sitting position. General Massage (Abhyangam) has been found very effective for improving eyesight, longevity, sound sleep, rheumatism, vitality and creates glowing skin. These massages are also a preventive medicine; in short it rejuvenates the body and maintains the physique. This massage also improves appetite, reduces stress levels and builds the body’s immunity
